Subhadra Yojana

Prime Minister’s first visit to the state after attending the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on June 12. During this visit, Prime Minister Modi will launch the state government’s social welfare scheme (Subhadra Yojana) for women.

Prime Minister Modi will

introduce the Subhadra Yojana, the state government’s social assistance program for women, during this visit. The purpose of this initiative is to provide financial empowerment to women in the state by allocating 10,000 rupees annually in two installments. The duration of this financial aid is five years.

Ten thousand rupees in aid per annum

The Odisha government would provide Rs 5,000 to women in the state twice a year as part of the Subhadra Yojana. The women’s accounts will get a direct transfer of funds. A debit card for making withdrawals will also be provided by the government. As part of this plan, the government will give an extra Rs 500 to 100 women out of those who make the maximum number of digital transactions in the Gram Panchayat and urban bodies. Women who are between the ages of 21 and 60 will benefit from the Subhadra Yojana. The lady applying must be an Odisha state resident because this program is run by the Odisha government. For a period of five years, this sum will be awarded on International Women’s Day and Rakhi Purnima.

A woman is ineligible for this if she receives

more than 15,000 rupees per month or more than 18,000 rupees per year in government aid through a pension, scholarship, or other source. In addition, women who file income taxes are not qualified for this. Block offices, Mo-Seva centers, Jan-Seva centers, and Anganwadi centers would all have the Subhadra Yojana form available. No fee will be charged for this. The government will form a society to prevent any kind of scam in the scheme. To apply, the woman must have an Aadhaar card and a mobile number linked to it. Apart from this, the account should be in a bank in which a DBT facility is available.
