XXX – Region code
1234567 – Establishment Code
XX1 – Extension (if any)
7654321 – Account number
Every employee is assigned a UAN.
Every EPFO member has a Universal Account Number (UAN). It is unique to each employee. When an employee changes jobs, he or she has to open a new PF account. However, there is only one UAN account. You can view the details of your various PF in a single UAN.
SMS Check for PF Balance
EPFO subscribers can also check their account balance by sending an SMS or making a missed call from their registered phone number. To do so, enter EPFOHO UAN in the message box and send it to 7738299899. Your EPF balance will be displayed on your mobile device. You can also leave a missed call on 011-22901406 from the registered mobile number.
