The Hyundai Exter, a new mini SUV from Hyundai Motor India, has been formally unveiled in terms of appearance. The business has made its images available. The all-new Hyundai Exter, which will rank below the Venue in the lineup, will be the company’s smallest SUV in India. Customers can reserve a spot for this now with a nominal payment of Rs 11,000 in advance. The company’s official website or a Hyundai dealership are the places to make a reservation.
A 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine
which also powers the Grand i10 Nios, will be offered in the Hyundai Exter. This engine will produce 113Nm of torque and 82bhp of power. It will have the choice of an AMT or 5-speed manual gearbox. Soon, the Hyundai Exter may also offer CNG versions.
Hyundai has attempted to give the Exter a muscular look
as seen in the photos that they have posted. It will have a stylish grille and H-shaped LED DRLs. It will be equipped with square headlamps that are provided on the bumper. The Exter will have diamond-cut alloy wheels, all-around body cladding, and front and rear skid plates. Its further features will soon be made known.
Will face up against Tata Punch SUV
It will face competition from Tata Punch, which has a starting price of Rs. 6 lakhs. The most expensive variant, however, costs Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Punch has a 187 mm ground clearance. It has a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces 86 PS and 113 Nm. Both a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox are available.
The Tata Punch SUV comes with a plethora of features
including a 7.0-inch touchscreen, a semi-digital instrument panel, automatic air conditioning, automatic lighting and wipers, cruise control, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking camera.
