Tata to launch new models of petrol and CNG variants of Punch

This year, Tata Punch was a big hit. It breaks the best-selling record each month. Express Drive reports that Tata would soon introduce new gasoline and CNG versions of their popular Punch vehicle. This year’s best-selling vehicle has been a compact SUV, and sales of its latest iteration are predicted to rise even further. Let’s talk about the Tata Punch petrol and CNG versions that will be available in 2024.

In 2021, Tata Punch was the first.

In October 2021, this compact SUV made its debut on the marketplace. It eventually rose to the top 10 selling automobiles in the nation, and it is currently the only vehicle on that list. Tata Motors unveiled the brand-new electric vehicle earlier this year of Punch, which is based on a new type of electric platform ‘Active-EV’. This has increased the sales of this SUV a lot.

ICE CNG facelift design

The new petrol and CNG versions of the Punch will reportedly sport a sleek and contemporary look, just like its electric counterpart, according to Tata Motors’ updated blueprint. It will also include split headlights, albeit with a somewhat altered look. There will be full LED lighting on the new Punch, including LED daytime running lights. In addition, the car’s front grille and bumper, which include air tunnels to cool the engine, will be modified. It is anticipated that the 16-inch alloy wheels will be redesigned.

What characteristics does the Tata Punch ICE have?

Like its electric counterpart, the new Punch will reportedly include two 10.25-inch screens: one for entertainment and the other serving as an instrument cluster in front of the driver. This information comes from a story on Express Drive. The front seats of the contemporary Punch powered by petrol and CNG have air conditioning and a 7-inch touchscreen. The vehicle observed during testing possessed the same outdated steering wheel; however, as Nexon’s electric and petrol vehicles are equipped with a modern two-leaf steering wheel, it’s plausible that the 2024 Punch will receive a similar one.

There are several safety features on the Punch, such as:

– Reverse parking sensors and parking camera
– Six airbags
– 360-degree camera
– Rain-sensing wipers
– Tyre pressure monitor
– Electronic stability program (It helps in controlling the car during sudden braking or cornering.)
