Jeep Compass Price Hike: The prices of cars have increased in recent times. All the companies have increased the prices of their vehicles. The cost of manufacturing the car is usually attributed to the increase in prices. For the time being, now Jeep India has also announced an increase in the prices of all variants of its popular car Compass. Jeep India has increased the prices of all variants of the Compass SUV by Rs 90,000 with effect from September 1, 2022. Prices for the entry-level Sport Petrol MT variant of the five-seater mid-size SUV now start at Rs 19.29 lakh. At the same time, the price of the range-topping variant Trailhawk goes up to Rs 32.22 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

What is the price of which variant?

The Sport MT variant with a 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine option costs Rs 19.29 lakh, the Sport AT variant costs Rs 21.87 lakh, Night Eagle AT variant costs Rs 24 lakh, and the Limited AT variant costs Rs 25.69 lakh. And the price of the S AT variant has gone up to Rs 27.84 lakh. At the same time, the Sport 4×2 MT variant with 2.0-liter diesel engine option costs Rs 20.89 lakh, Night Eagle 4×2 MT variant costs Rs 23.30 lakh, Limited 4×2 MT variant costs Rs 24.89 lakh, S 4×2 MT variant is priced at Rs. 27.04 lakhs, Limited 4×4 AT variant priced at Rs 28.69 lakhs, S 4×4 AT variant priced at Rs 30.84 lakhs and Trailhawk 4×4 AT variant priced at Rs 32.22 lakhs.

Apart from the increase in the price of the car, no changes have been made to it. All the features of the car will remain the same as before. However, Jeep has now discontinued the Longitude (O) variant of the Compass, which was available with a 1.4-liter petrol DCT and a 2.0-liter diesel MT. Work on the rest of the variants is going on. Significantly, the Jeep Compass competes with the recently launched 2022 Hyundai Tucson, Volkswagen Tiguan, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector.
