Another Pulsar has been added to the portfolio by Bajaj Auto. The new Pulsar N150 has been introduced by the firm. In reality, the first of six new Pulsar models, the N150, would be introduced by Bajaj in India by the end of the fiscal year 2023–24, according to recent media sources. Its starting price (ex-showroom) is Rs. 1.18 lakh. It is significant that the most recent launch, the third 150cc Pulsar following the original Pulsar 150 and Pulsar P150, is the 13th model in the Pulsar line-up. Bajaj has not yet stated whether or not the addition of a new Pulsar will require the business to discontinue one of its current Pulsar models.
Bajaj Pulsar N150’s design
The new Pulsar N150 has many aesthetic features with the original Pulsar N150, including a wolf-eyed front face. A projector headlight with a single pod and LED DRLs on either side are present. The Peul tank has a strong physique. The Pulsar N150 has a single-piece seat with a single-piece grab rail while the N160 has a split-style seat and split grab rail.
Engine
Three color schemes, including Racing Red, Ebony Black, and Metallic Pearl White, were introduced for the Bajaj N150. The rear tyre hugger, underbody exhaust muffler, and underbody engine cowl are additional noteworthy features. A 149.68cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, similarly used in the P150, powers the Pulsar N150. This engine produces 13.5 Nm and 14.3 horsepower. A 5-speed gearbox is present.
Hardware
There are telescoping front forks and a rear mono-shock when it comes to suspension. With single-channel ABS, the front 240 mm disc and the rear 130 mm drum combine to provide braking power. According to Bajaj, the new Pulsar N150 will get 45 to 50 km per gallon on average. It is 7 kilograms lighter than the Pulsar N160.
