Getting ready to introduce its first CNG bike is Bajaj Auto. During testing, this bike has been observed numerous times. This bike has been sighted again recently, and images of it have also appeared. According to recent spy photos, the CNG cylinder will be positioned horizontally beneath the seat. It has a flat, lengthy seat. The bike’s gasoline tank has a sizable panel gap that might be used to access the CNG cylinder valve.
There are rumors that the bike might have a larger engine.
This is a result of CNG’s lower power output than petrol. A small petrol tank that can be utilized in an emergency may also be present on the bike. On the left side switchgear, there is a blue switch, which is probably for changing the fuel mode (CNG to petrol/petrol to CNG).
A digital instrument console
likely an LCD—may also be included with the bike. The spy photos show that the bike has a braced handlebar with knuckle protection. The bike included mid-set footpegs, which can help riders adopt a comfortable riding position. It has a telescopic fork, a rear mono-shock, and a heel-and-toe gear changer. It appears that the bike has a drum brake in the back and a disc brake up front. It has a saree guard at the back, a leg guard up front, and an upswept exhaust. In terms of cost, the new Bajaj CNG bike is anticipated to cost approximately Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).
The business hasn’t
yet disclosed any further details or the date of its official launch, though. Furthermore, the spy photos of its test mule served as the basis for the information above. It is also conceivable for the final manufacturing model to change.
