The results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam 1 2024 have been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The written CDS test took place on April 21, 2024. Those who took the exam can now check their results at upsc.gov.in, the UPSC’s official website.
“Based on the result of the
Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on April 21, 2024, 8373 candidates with the following roll numbers have qualified,” the notice of results stated.
How to verify the UPSC CDS 1 outcome in 2024
- Launch your web browser and enter UPSC.gov.in into the address bar to access the organization’s official website.
- Locate the “What’s New” section of the UPSC homepage once it opens.
- Look for the link “Written Result: Combined Defence Service Examination (I) 2024” under the “What’s New” section.
- To be sent to the result page, click the link.
- Locate and click on the document link associated with the result on the result page.
- Upon accessing the result document, test takers can look for their name and roll number in the attached PDF file.
- Download the outcome paper for your records and future use as soon as you get your details.

The 158th (DE) Course at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun,
the 158th (DE) Course at the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala, and the 158th (Pre-Flying) Training Course (217) at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad will be open to selected students. F(P)), Officers Training Academy, Chennai for entry into the 121st SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course and the 35th SSC Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course in the Ministry of Defence, respectively, will receive admission. The first day of these courses is April 2025.
