Good News for Vaishno Devi Pilgrims: Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees visiting Vaishno Devi, the Shrine Board has decided to start a new service. Under this, now a ropeway will be started for passengers from Katra to semi-virgin.

Vaishno Devi Yatra Katra to Ardhkuwari Ropeway: Good news has come for crores of devotees going on the journey of Mata Vaishno Devi. Now to make the journey from Katra to Bhawan easier, preparations are being made to start the facility of the ropeway. This ropeway will start between Katra and Ardhkuwari. Commuters will get relief from the start of the ropeway. This will increase the number of pilgrims, which will directly benefit the local businessmen.

The new ropeway will be 1,281 meters long
Apart from this, Durga Bhawan, Theme Park, and RFID tag service will also be started soon. A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting chaired by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Chairman and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The length of the ropeway from Katra to Ardhkuwari will be 1,281 meters.

Preparation to provide more facilities to passengers
In a meeting with the newly appointed members of the Shrine Board under the chairmanship of the Lieutenant Governor, it was agreed to start many more facilities to make the journey of the pilgrims hassle-free.

Spiritual theme park to be developed
In addition, a spiritual theme park will be developed in and around Katra. Approval was also given for the construction of more staff houses in Katra and Ardhkuwari.
