The ID4 is based on VW’s modular MEB platform with a skateboard architecture that will also be used in the upcoming Skoda Enyac IV. The high-voltage battery will be located near the underbody in this case. Talking about battery power, globally it has a battery pack of 77kWh, which generates power of 204hp and peak torque of 310Nm. Talking about the cabin features, like the rest of the MEB models, the ID.4 also gets a lot of interior space. It comes with a fully digital cockpit, a tactile surface to operate, and intelligent voice controls. It gets a futuristic look with a full-width light bar and sleek LED headlamps and tail lamps. Apart from this, there are A-pillars, a strong shoulder line, and body cladding to the design. The electric SUV falls somewhere between the Tiguan and the Tiguan Allspace in terms of size.
Volkswagen, on the other hand, just launched the new Vertus car yesterday, which is the company’s most recent model. The Vertus is available with two engine options: a 1.0 TSI engine and a 1.5 TSI engine. Simultaneously, its starting price is Rs 11.22 lakh.
