Additionally, it enables users to exchange movies, images, and other crucial data. Google has been letting users back up their WhatsApp conversations on Google Drive for free for years. There are rumors that the Google Drive storage cap will begin to apply to WhatsApp chat backups during the first half of 2024. Those who relied on 15 GB will be impacted by this. There are three primary monthly and annual membership rates available for Google One and Google Drive. Basic (100GB) costs £1.59 / $1.99, Standard (200GB) costs £2.49 / $2.99, and Premium (2TB) costs £7.99 / $9.99 each month. These plans were paid for each month. About yearly rates, customers will pay £15.98 / $19.99 for the Basic (100GB) plan, £24.98 / $29.99 for the Standard (200GB) plan, and £79.99 / $99.99 for the Premium (2TB) plan. In India, prices have not yet been disclosed.

According to rumors, WhatsApp is also developing a new function that would let users communicate with one another without disclosing their phone numbers.
