In addition to CEO Parag Agarwal, Policy Chief Vijaya Gadde has reportedly also been let go, according to US media reports. Parag and other senior employees have also been let go from the San Francisco office. Ned Segal, the CFO, is one of these officers. Elon Musk announced the acquisition of Twitter on April 13. He had made an offer to purchase this platform for $44 billion, or $54.2 per share.

However, his deal was suspended during that time. Elon Musk then decided to cancel the agreement on July 8, but he changed his mind early this month. On Thursday, Elon Musk visited the Twitter office; the resulting video quickly went viral online.
