The case relates to Bhagalpur in Bihar, where Sanjeev Raja, an occupant of Mohaddindar, has claimed that his Xiaomi Smartphone 11 Light NE 5G unexpectedly burst into flames when the occurrence occurred. Around then the smartphone was not charging.
The incidents of smartphone blasts have become normal at this point.

Xiaomi India has likewise given a proclamation on this.

The good news was that no one was wounded. No one was there around when the phone detonated. The phone was on the bed, if this had happened sometime before, a serious accident could have happened. Such incidents can be very dangerous and have the potential to cause huge losses.
What happenedÂ
Sanjeev Raja claims that when his Xiaomi smartphone 11 Lite NE 5G, which he purchased in December 2021, was not plugged into the charger, it began to smoke. His phone was on his bed when he went to make tea. When he returned, he saw smoke coming out of his phone and took a video of it. It can be seen in the footage that smoke is coming out of the phone. The battery has completely burned out a portion of it. The explosion was so tremendous that the mattress (on which the phone was kept) was charred to ashes with at least 2-3 layers. Due to the fire, the back cover – which appears to be made of rubber – was seen stuck to the bedsheet.
