The BMW M1000R was introduced by BMW Motorrad in India with a starting price of Rs 33 lakh. There are two versions of it available: Standard and Competition. Its competition-level model costs Rs 38 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle will be made available at all authorized BMW Motorrad India dealerships as a fully built unit (CBU), and pre-orders have already begun. It will start to be delivered in January 2024.
BMW M1000R Engine
A 999 cc, water-cooled, inline 4-cylinder engine with 209 horsepower at 14,500 rpm and 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm powers the M 1000 R. In terms of performance, the M 1000 R has a top speed of 280 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro1-3 are the five ride modes available.
BMW M 1000 R Hardware
In terms of equipment, this top-of-the-line naked streetfighter has a fully adjustable front. And rear suspension, which comprises 45 mm USD front forks and a rear mono-shock. There are 320 mm double disc brakes up front and 220 mm disc brakes at the back for stopping power. Dual-channel ABS is present.
BMW M1000R Features
The new M 1000 R includes an OBD interface for the M GPS lap trigger. An M GPS data recorder, and a 6.5-inch TFT instrument display with start-up animation with the M logo. It offers amenities including heated grips, electronic cruise control, adaptive turning light, rear USB charging port, and all-LED lighting.
