EPFO Latest News Update: You can change the nominee in your PF account very easily. This is a very important thing. In today’s time, online PF passbooks cannot be viewed without e-nomination.
Employees PF Fund Management Organization (EPFO) has given special facilities to crores of its customers. This facility can be used by EPF subscribers to change the nominee in their accounts. A nominee is very important for any PF account holder as the nominee can claim the amount deposited in the PF account in case of the unfortunate death of the account holder.
EPFO tweeted, “EPF members can file a new nomination to replace the existing EPF/EPS enrollment. #EPFO #Services #Pension #EPF PF Amrit Mahotsav”
EPFO has also shared a picture with this tweet. The picture reads, “If an EPF member wishes to change his earlier EPF/EPS nomination, he can file a fresh nomination. The new EPF/EPS nomination will override the old nomination.”
You can file e-nomination
In this way 1. Open https://www.epfindia.gov.in/ in the browser of your mobile or laptop.
2. Now move your mouse cursor on the ‘Services’ button given right next to Home.
3. In the drop-down list, click on the option ‘Employees’ given at the second number from the top.
4. new page will open in front of you.
5. Click on ‘Member UAN/Online Services (OCS/OTCP)’ in the Services section at the bottom of this page.
6. After this, the Unified Member Portal will come in front of you.
7. On this page enter the captcha code followed by UAN and password.
8. Now click on Sign In.
9. Now click on the ‘Manage’ section.
10. Select ‘e-Nomination’ from the drop-down list.
11. If you wish to make a fresh e-nomination, click on ‘Enter New Enrollment’ and then complete the process of e-nomination by following the given procedure.
