Notification explanation
The Central Government’s Ministry of Commerce has also released a notification in this regard. According to this, a unit may permit its employees to WFH or from any other location outside of the Special Economic Zones.
The government has granted some restrictions that will allow employees of IT/ITES units in Special Economic Zones to work from home until December 31, 2023.

According to the notification, temporarily disabled personnel who are traveling and working away from the office would profit from this decision in the nation.
Additionally, the owners of the SEZ unit must tell the development commissioner of the relevant zone of this. And must continue to operate from the location in accordance with their approval letter.
Units may send an email notification on or before the WFH start date requesting authorization to work from home in the future.
Create a staff list
According to the government’s statement, these organizations are not needed to produce a list of employees who have been given permission to work from home.
However, they are required to retain a list of it in the unit. The business will need to keep track of the money it makes from exporting the goods or services it is preparing.
