By using WhatsApp to talk, you may now purchase Delhi Metro while relaxing at home or from any location. According to DMRC, customers would find it simpler to purchase metro tickets with this new service. It will only take a few clicks on WhatsApp to get Delhi Metro tickets. This demonstrates the efforts made by DMRC to give its customers a better experience.

DMRC, in association with Meta and Pelocall Fintech Private Limited, has developed this service. All 288 metro stations and 12 metro lines in Delhi NCR, including Gurugram Rapid Metro, are accessible with metro tickets purchased in both Hindi and English.

  • Keep the number handy: Add 9650855800, the official DMRC WhatsApp number, to your phone’s contact list.
  • Hello: Open WhatsApp and send this number a “hi” message.
  • Choose Your Language: Choose your desired language (English or Hindi) after you’re connected.
  • Choose a choice: From the menu, choose the necessary options, such as “Refund Tickets,” “Prior Trip Tickets,” or “Buy Tickets.”
  • Name the station: Indicate where you plan to start and finish your trip.
  • Indicate the amount of tickets. Decide how many tickets you would like.
  • Pay Now: Verify your selection and pay using a safe and secure payment gateway. You can make use of UPI, debit cards, and credit cards.
  • Obtain the QR Code: You will immediately receive a QR code ticket upon successful payment.
  • Scan QR Code: Scan this QR code at the AFC gate while entering and exiting the metro station.

  • Purchase up to 6 tickets at once: Depending on the number of passengers, you may purchase up to 6 tickets at once.
  • Remember the time: Only from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. is Metro open. Operational hours for the Airport Line (Orange Line) are 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Non-Refundable Tickets: Tickets purchased via WhatsApp are not returnable.
  • Option for Payment: The purchase using a credit/debit card will incur a small additional fee; however, the payment through UPI will be free of charge.
  • Traveling All Day: One QR ticket can be used for the whole day.
  • Time to cross the gate: You have 65 minutes to leave the metro after you enter.
