Users now have the option to download videos from Twitter. However, not every user will benefit from this service. Only customers who have a Blue subscription, a premium service, are eligible for this functionality.
Verified users have the option to download particular videos, according to the Twitter Help Centre. Currently only available for iOS, this feature will soon be made accessible to Android and online users as well. Here, we explain how you can benefit from this service.
The message claims that verified users now have the option to download videos from a list of tweets, enabling them to watch videos offline. Verified users must activate the ‘Allow video to be downloaded’ option while tweeting in order to use this new functionality. They are able to do this to save their preferred videos to their device.
Where to download Twitter videos?
Step 1: Open your Twitter account and search for the video you wish to download.
Step 2: Tap the player to start the video when you’ve located it. Playback of the video will begin.
Step 3: Locate the “Download Video” or “Download Video” option from the three dots that will now appear in the top right corner of the video player. Toggle this option on.
Step 4: A dialogue box will open asking you to confirm the download of the video if you have Verified User rights and the option to download the video is available. By hitting the download button, you may download the video to your device.
