Bank Holidays November 2022: While some bank holidays will be honored across the country, others will only be observed locally. Due to these celebrations, several bank branches will remain closed in several states.

New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has listed a few days in November 2022 when banking operations will be suspended, however, internet banking services will still be available on those days.

While some bank holidays will be honored across the country, others will only be observed locally. Due to these celebrations, several bank branches will remain closed in several states. You must write down the list of significant days in November when banks will be closed before visiting your local branch.

Bank Holiday

According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) holiday calendar schedule, banks will be closed for a total of 10 days in November, four of which are weekends. You should be aware that not all states or areas will have a 10-day bank holiday. This is the total number of days that banks will be closed across the country due to state-observed holidays.

For example, bank locations may be closed in Shillong due to Seng Kutsnem but not in other states.

Here is a detailed list of all the bank holidays that will occur in November 2022. Check out the over-a list.

Rajyotsava/Kut in Kannada: November 1.

November 8 is Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartika Purnima, and Rahas Purnima.

November 11: Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Wangala Festival

23 November, Seng Kutsnem

Bank Holidays

The second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays of each month fall on the following dates in addition to the aforementioned bank holidays:

November 12 is the second Saturday.

On November 13, Sunday.

November 20th, Sunday

November 26 is the fourth Saturday.

On November 27, Sunday.

The Reserve Bank of India categorizes its holidays into three groups: holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, holidays under the Real Time Gross Settlement Act, and holidays related to banks closing accounts. It should be noted, nevertheless, that different states have different bank holidays, and not all banks follow them. Banking holidays also depend on certain states declaring holidays or observing specific festivals or other events.

The aforementioned days will be commemorated as holidays in different locations following the state-declared holidays, although banks will be closed nationally on the days that have been gazetted as holidays.
