The Eastern Railway (ER) Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) is now accepting online applications for Act Apprentice training in its workshops and divisions by the Apprentices Act of 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules of 1992. Interested parties who fulfill the requirements for eligibility may apply online at rrcer.org, the official website of RRC-ER. It should be noted that the application window will open on September 24 (from 11:00 am) and will remain live till October 23 (5:00 pm). If selected, candidates will get a stipend of around Rs 10,000 per month. Those that are chosen will receive a monthly stipend of about Rs 10,000.
RRC ER Recruitment 2024
Candidates must have passed class 10 or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% of the possible points to be eligible for the recognized board. They must also possess a National Trade Certificate in a notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT. The candidate must be at least 15 years old but no older than 24.

Recruitment for RRC ER in 2024
- Applicants must go to rrcer.org, the RRC Eastern Railway’s official website.
- Check the homepage for the notification labeled ‘RRC/ER/Act Apprentices/2024-25’.
- If you haven’t already, register by filling out the necessary information to establish a new account.
- Next, sign in using the generated credentials and complete the online application form.
- Scan and upload the required documents in the prescribed format and pay the application fee.
- Review all the details carefully and submit the application form.
- Candidates will be chosen for training slots in an Eastern Railway unit based on a merit-based process that considers applications from all qualified candidates. Based on the information that candidates fill out on the application, a merit list will be created.
