DRS Controversy: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Devon Conway was unable to use DRS due to lights being turned off at the Wankhede Stadium after the umpire dismissed himself LBW in this match.

DRS Controversy: In the IPL match played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday, a big controversy has arisen regarding DRS. In fact, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Devon Conway could not use the DRS in this match after the umpire dismissed himself lbw due to the lights being off at the Wankhede Stadium. This facility was not available at the time.

Big fraud in the match with CSK?
After this incident, now Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming has given a big statement. Stephen Fleming described the lack of DRS as “unfortunate,” adding that some decisions went against him during the IPL match against the Mumbai Indians. Due to a short circuit at the Wankhede Stadium, the DRS facility was not available for the first 10 balls of Chennai’s innings, due to which their team had to face defeat.

Now the coach of the team made these serious allegations
Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming said, ‘It was unfortunate that this happened at that time. We were a little disappointed, but that’s also part of the game. At that time some decisions did not go in our favor. It was definitely not a good start for us.

Chennai’s chances of making the playoffs have ended.
Chennai’s chances of reaching the playoffs also ended with a five-wicket defeat at the hands of Mumbai. However, Fleming wants to see the positive aspects. “We had some really positive aspects,” Fleming said. Mukesh Chaudhary and Simarjit Singh bowled brilliantly with the new ball. So, with Deepak Chahar’s return, we’ll have some good options for bowling with the new ball.

What is CSK’s plan next?
Fleming said, ‘We didn’t play as we should have shown. Now that we are out of IPL 2022, we can try other players in the remaining two matches. Shane Bond, Mumbai’s bowling coach, praised his bowlers’ outstanding performance in the last few games. “We’ve done well as a bowling unit in the last four or five games,” Bond said. Bumrah bowled well throughout the season but didn’t get as many wickets as he needed.
