The Delhi NCR region is expected to see a severe cold wave, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD). IMD in Delhi has issued a “Yellow Alert” for the upcoming six days.

and the cold wave will last for the next two days, according to the Meteorological Department. The wind speed is predicted to be between 10 and 14 kilometers per hour on Tuesday, when the minimum temperature may drop even lower, to one degree Celsius. Due to the cold wave, the meteorological department has issued a yellow notice for the following two days. The Meteorological Department has warned that, in addition to the Delhi NCR, other states, such as Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh, may experience extreme cold wave conditions through January 18.

Mahesh Palawat, a senior meteorologist with Skymet Weather, predicted that Tuesday’s low might be just one degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department has already issued an orange notice for a cold wave that is expected to hit Delhi from January 17 to 18.
However, from January 18, the temperature in Delhi NCR will gradually rise. According to the Meteorological Department, the lowest temperature will progressively rise by three to five degrees Celsius from January 18 to 20 as a result of the impact of a fresh western disturbance.

The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange signal for Rajasthan and Haryana and a Yellow notice for Delhi.
