On November 7, 2023, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 2024 will make its global debut. The new bike will be between the Interceptor 650 and the Classic 350. It will face off against the BMW G310 GS and KTM Adventure 390. A great deal of information about this adventure motorcycle has been made public prior to its formal launch. Although RE has not yet made public the official specs, we do know some details about the bike’s appearance, features, and mechanical components because it was presented to the media.Royal Enfield Himalayan

The motorcycle will incorporate dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system)

and disc brakes on the front and rear. This should lead to improved braking. On the new K1 double-cradle platform, it will be built. It will sport a mono-shock unit in the back and USD front forks up front. We anticipate that this suspension system will be far superior.Royal Enfield Himalayan

The motorcycle will include an all-LED lighting system

a computerized instrument dashboard with smartphone connectivity, and ride-by-wire technology. The bike’s wheelbase measures 1510 mm, making it roughly 45 mm longer than the Himalayan 411. This adventure motorbike has a curb weight of 196 kg and a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 394 kg.Royal Enfield Himalayan

It appears to have a slightly larger gasoline tank than the original model

Its range could expand if this occurs when the tank is fully charged. It will be equipped with off-road tyres on front wheels that measure 21 inches and rear wheels that measure 17 inches. There will be tubeless tyres available in it. The bike features a small tail section, split seating, a huge fuel tank, a large windscreen, a beak-shaped fender, and an LED headlight.Royal Enfield Himalayan

Royal Enfield Himalayan Drivetrain

It will be equipped with a new 4-valve, 451.66cc liquid-cooled engine. It is anticipated that this engine will produce between 40 and 45 Nm and 39.57 horsepower. Its power-to-weight ratio is anticipated to be approximately 201.4 horsepower per tonne, while the Himalayan 411’s present ratio is approximately 120.4 horsepower per tonne.
