Mahindra and Hero Electric Jointly Launched The Cheapest Electric Scooter, now The Real Game Will be Played

Some time ago big news came out, in which it was told that electric two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Electric has announced a joint venture with Mahindra Group. Under this joint venture, both the companies will soon introduce electric two-wheelers in the market. At the same time, now both the companies together have introduced their first cheap electric scooter, which has been launched with a great range at a low price. This scooter introduced by the company has been launched under the name Optima. This scooter has been made at the plant located in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.

Remind you that both the company had recently announced their partnership. This partnership is for 5 years in which about Rs 150 crore was invested. It was also informed that Mahindra Group will manufacture Hero Electric’s most popular electric bikes Optima and NYX at its Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh to meet the growing market demand.

Optima’s range

On a single charge, this scooter can give you a range of up to 82 km. The company has given a BLDC motor in it, with the help of which it will give power of 550 W and it will take 4-5 hours for a full charge. Apart from this, if we talk about braking, then you get the front brake drum, rear brake drum in it.

Features of Optima

It is worth noting that Hero Electric introduced the all-new Optima scooter in December last year and since then the Optima’s launch was being speculated. At the same time, if we talk about the features of the new Optima electric scooter, then the company has given cruise control feature in it. Apart from this, a cruise control button has also been given to activate this cruise function in the scooter, after which, after activating, the symbol of cruise appears in the speedometer.

Optima Price

Talking about the price of Hero Optima HX, the company has introduced it at an ex-showroom price of Rs 55,580. You can buy this scooter in 4 color variants which include Blue, Grey, Red, and White color options. At the same time, the price of this electric scooter will vary according to the subsidy received in different states.
