Nothing, a UK-based electronics company, is getting ready to introduce its newest product, the Ear (2) TWS earphones, which will replace Ear (1). Carl Pei and prominent YouTuber Marques Brownlee will deliver the virtual launch event tonight, March 22, at 8 p.m. (MKBHD). Around 8:30 IST, the launch ceremony would be broadcast live and without charge on YouTube.

The official details of Ear (2) are yet unknown, however, several posters have speculated that the new earbuds will maintain the transparent design trend. Positive evaluations of the original Nothing Ear (1) are distinctive and lightweight construction were received.

Although the official details have not been released, it is probable that these will have certain improvements over the original. According to the information that has been leaked, the Nothing Ear 2 will sport 11.6mm drivers. Enhancements could be made to the active noise cancellation (ANC) function that was offered by the original Ear (1). These earphones might also enable high-bitrate Bluetooth codecs, making it possible to use compatible apps and enjoy more varied music. Battery life for Ear (1) was 4 hours and 30 minutes with ANC on and 6 hours without it. As a result, it’s probable that Nobody will try to make this feature in Ear better (2). The TWS will be better shielded from water splashes and dust particles thanks to Nothing Ear (2)’s IP54 rating.
Nothing has already been said to imply that new earbuds will support LHDC Audio 5.0, a coding standard that allows for Bluetooth audio streaming of higher quality.
The rumoured graphics and technical specifications
earphones were tweeted by well-known source Paras Guglani. White earbuds with a translucent stem and shell are shown in the photographs, and the design is identical to that of the previous iteration. The earbuds are labelled “Nothing Ear (2)” on the stem, and the left and right earbuds are distinguished by red and white dots. The stem also has a noise-cancelling microphone.
Even though the new Ear (2)’s design might not undergo any significant alterations
we can anticipate some minor upgrades. As the previous model and its charging cover were easily scratched, the manufacturer might concentrate on improving the build quality.
The charging case is probably going to keep its wireless charging capability
which is still uncommon among earphones priced around Rs 8,000. It is unknown if Nothing will offer Ear (2) in additional colours, as Ear (1) was only offered in white and black.
Price of Nothing ear 2
According to rumours, Ear 2 will probably cost around Rs 10,000 in India. Setting a competitive price point will be the company’s biggest difficulty with the Ear (2) launch, though. With earbuds priced under Rs 5,000, well-known Indian manufacturers presented fierce competition to the original Ear (1), which retailed for Rs 6,999.
