The cost of the new 911 with its performance hybrid drivetrain has been made public by Porsche India. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS will start at Rs 27,542,000 ex-showroom, while the new 911 will start at Rs 19,899,000 ex-showroom. By the end of the current year, 911 Carrera deliveries are anticipated to start. The Carrera has a more potent 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine, while the new GTS has a hybrid powertrain that is more performance-focused.
Regarding its additional modifications,
they include a redesigned exterior with increased aerodynamics and a completely redesigned interior with an abundance of connectivity possibilities. Racing cars served as the inspiration for the GTS hybrid. The latest electric turbocharger on it features an electric motor that generates 15PS of power.
While the new 3.6-liter boxer engine
generates 57 kW (485 PS) of power and 570 Nm of torque, the total output of this setup is 398 kW (541 PS) and 610 Nm. That is, it has increased by 61 PS compared to before and its weight has increased by 51kgs. It is claimed to get an 8-speed PDK gearbox.
As previously stated,
the 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine powering the 911 Carrera generates 290 kW (394 PS) of power and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. While the GTS receives sports suspension, the suspension has also been updated to include rear-axle steering. The GTS variant of the Porsche 911 receives a sports exhaust and five vertically oriented active cooling air flaps in addition to model-specific bumpers. There is now a start button on the 911. The hybrid drivetrain is the most significant update in the new 911, however there are numerous other small changes as well.
