India’s central armed police force is called the Border Security Force, or BSF. Its primary responsibility is to guard India’s borders with Bangladesh and Pakistan. The official Recruitment notification for Group B and C posts—constable, SI, and ASI—has been made public by the BSF. To apply, go to https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/, the official website. You can see all the post specifics here as well. Until July 25, 2024, you may apply online for these positions.

Applications are being accepted

for 141 constable, SI, and ASI positions across various departments by the BSF. Candidates must have a degree from an accredited institution or institute. How to apply, what credentials are needed, and how will the candidate selected? Know the answers to all these questions here.

  • SI (Vehicle Mechanic): 3 posts, Qualification – Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, 30 years of age
  • Constable (OTRP): 1, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years of age
  • Constable (SKT): 1, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years of age
  • Constable (Fitter): 4, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years of age
  • Constable (Carpenter): 2, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years of age
  • Constable (Auto Electric): 1, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years age
  • Constable (Veh Mech): 22, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years of age
  • Constable (BSTS): 2, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years of age
  • Constable (Upholster): 1, Qualification – ITI or 3 years experience, 18-25 years age
  • SI (Staff Nurse): 14, Qualification – GNM, 21-30 years of age
  • ASI (Lab Tech): 38, Qualification – Lab Technician Diploma (DMLT), 18-25 years of age
  • ASI (Physio): 47, Qualification – Physiotherapy degree or diploma, 20-27 years of age
  • HC (Veterinary): 1, Qualification – 12th Pass + 1-year Veterinary Stock Assistant Course, 18-25 years age
  • Constable (Kennelman): 2, Qualification – 10th Pass + 2 years experience, 18-25 years age
  • Inspector (Library): 2, Qualification – Degree in Library Science, 30 years of age

RecruitmentHow will candidates be chosen for BSF positions?

Candidates will be required to submit to written, physical, and skill tests to be considered for these positions (BSF Recruitment 2024). Following this, a medical examination and document verification will take place.

  • The application process for BSF Groups B and C online
  • To do this, go to rectt.bsf.gov.in, the official website.
  • Select the link for Current Recruitment.
  • To view available positions, click the Application link. Complete the registration number field.
  • Enter your password and registration number to log in.
  • Fill out the application after carefully reading the instructions.
  • A distinct number will be created upon submission.
  • Now get the application and print it out.
