UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 postponed! this is the new date

The Union Public Service Commission postponed the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 on Tuesday. Originally, it was supposed to take place on May 26, 2024. As per the Commission’s notice, the UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam 2024 is now scheduled for June 16th. Following the Election Commission’s notification on Saturday confirming the dates of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, which will take place from April 19 to June 1, 2024, the exam schedule has been modified.

“The Commission has decided to

postpone the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination – 2024, which was scheduled to be held from 26-05-2024 to 16-06-2024,” the notification stated. “It also serves as a screening test for 2024.” The notification also addressed the General Election schedule. There will be two shifts for the exam. The Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) and General Studies sections of the UPSC IAS written exam will be administered in two shifts. The GS paper will be given in two sessions: one in the afternoon, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, and one in the morning, from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

The UPSC IAS Exam 2024 registration date was previously extended by the Commission. The official notice states that the registration deadline has been extended to March 6 at 6 p.m. The rectification opportunity was thus available from March 7 to March 13. Admission card ten days before the test. The UPSC IAS Prelims Admit Card 2024 will be made available by the Commission at least ten days before the test. Following their release, candidates will be able to download their UPSC Prelims Hall Ticket 2024 from the official website upsc.gov.in. To download the UPSC Civil Services Admit Card for 2024, candidates need to use their registration number along with their roll number or date of birth.

CSE exam and 150 positions for the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) have been made public by UPSC. The three stages of the UPSC CSE assessment are the Pre, Mains, and Personal Interview. The UPSC CSE preliminary exam will include objective-style questions. Candidates would be able to register for the UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2024 if their score is higher than the designated cut-off point.UPSC

Primary on September 20

Starting on September 20, there will be a five-day UPSC IAS Main Exam. As to the CSE announcement, applicants need to meet the specified age requirements to be eligible for the test. As of August 1, 2024, the candidate’s age must be at least 21 years old, but not older than 32. This implies that the contenders were born between August 2, 1992, and August 1, 2003.
