The government workers and retirees in Rajasthan who have been waiting for their increased dearness allowance (DA) for the past six months have good news. The plan to raise the employees’ dearness allowance has the support of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Beginning in January 2023, they will receive this enhanced stipend. According to the report, CM Gehlot gave his approval to this order for government workers who are compensated in accordance with the 1998 Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules and the 5th Pay Commission.
DA went up by 412 percent
The rate of dearness allowance for state employees and retirees will rise from 396 to 412 percent as a result of this decision by the Rajasthan government. Cash will be given to DA pensioners who have outstanding payments from January 2023 to March 2023, and it will be transferred into the General Provident Fund accounts of active government workers. The government argued that this choice will have a significant positive impact on public employees and pensions.
Pay adjustment after nine months

The government has lowered the 33-year minimum eligibility requirement to 30 years. Additionally, the time frame for receiving VRS has been shortened from 20 years to 17 years.
