Using the wrong charger

Many people charge their phone with any charger. If they think the cable connector is fitting with their phone then it is fine. However, as far as possible charge the phone with the original charger or supported charger. Never use a cheap charger. Buy chargers of trusted brands only.

Downloading Apps from Websites Other than the Google Play Store

Some users download an app from a third-party app store or website when the app is not available on the Google Play Store. Lots of people do this for modded apps. But, these apps can get infected with malware and can harm your phone as well as you financially.

Not downloading the latest Android OS or security updates

Good mobile brands continuously release security updates and OS for mobiles. This is most important as they improve the security of your device. Apart from this, it also protects your phone from malicious attacks.

Using a Public Wi-Fi Network

Public Wi-Fi networks are free or cheap. But, they are quite a security risk. Many times hackers are trying to steal your information through this. If you want to use public Wi-Fi, you will also need to use a VPN.

Not updating apps

Make sure to update the downloaded apps on your phone at regular intervals. You can do this by going to the Google Play Store. If an app has not been updated for a long time, then delete such apps from the phone as well. These can prove to be dangerous for the phone.
