According to the rules of RBI, even if the account holder withdraws money from his bank’s ATM or any other bank’s ATM and the cash is not withdrawn, but the money is deducted from your account, then your bank can teach in the nearest bank. If the bank is closed then you can call the customer care of the bank and inform them about it. Your complaint will be registered. For this, the bank will get one week’s time.

Keep the transaction slip with you
While withdrawing money from the ATM, the transaction may have failed, but you must keep its slip. So never forget to take out the slip. If for some reason the slip is not generated, you can also give the statement to the bank. The transaction slip is important as it prints the ATM ID, location, time, and response code from the bank.
Your money bank will refund the money within 7 days
In view of such cases, RBI has made a special guideline. According to this, in such cases, the bank has to return the money to the customers within 7 days. You can approach the Banking Ombudsman If the bank is not able to return the money to the customers within 7 days, then the bank will have to pay Rs 100 per day to the customer.
