By receiving a perfect 5-star rating from the Latin NCAP, the Volkswagen Taigun has once again demonstrated its safety. These crash test results were released by the Latin American and Caribbean New Car Assessment Programme (Latin NCAP). It’s noteworthy that the Volkswagen Taigun, a Made in India vehicle, has already received 5-star safety certification from Global NCAP. One of India’s most secure mid-size SUVs is this one.
Crash Test – The Volkswagen Taigun
which is manufactured in India, comes standard with six airbags and electronic stability control (ESC) in Latin American countries. It received ratings of 92.47 percent for adult passenger safety, 91.84 percent for child passenger safety, 55.14% for pedestrian protection, and 83.28 percent for safety assistance.
The vehicle underwent tests for
frontal, side, side-pole, whiplash, pedestrian protection, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), interurban, speed assist, and electronic stability control (ESC). Latin NCAP claims that due to its strong performance, the Taigun was awarded five stars.

In fact, he continued, “All of our India 2.0 vehicles
including the Volkswagen Taigun, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Kushaq, and Skoda Slavia, have earned a 5-star certification from Global NCAP for both adult and child occupant protection, making them among of the safest Made-in-India automobiles ever.
