Everybody orders food from Zomato, however vegetarians occasionally steer clear of non-vegetarian food, making it impossible for them to even place an online order. Zomato has now also fixed this issue. The online meal delivery business Zomato (zomato share price) has opened a new location for its clientele.
Deepinder Goyal, the founder and CEO of Zomato,
has announced that pure vegetarian meal delivery would soon begin. The company launched this service with the intention of catering to fully vegetarian consumers’ tastes. He mentioned the reaction of vegetarian clients to the introduction of the new offering. He disclosed that the internet-based firm is also introducing ‘Pure Veg Fleet’ for clients in India who follow a vegan diet. India has the most vegetarian population in the world, according to Goyal, who made this claim in a post on the social networking site “X.” According to him, new services have been launched in response to these kinds of client comments.
India’s largest vegetarian population
India has the largest percentage of vegetarians in the world, according to Zomato’s CEO, and the most significant comment we have heard from them is that they take great pride in the way their food is prepared and served.
Restaurants that serve vegetarian food will be included.
He stated that for customers who desire a strictly vegetarian diet, we are offering ‘Pure Vegetarian Medium’ and ‘Pure Vegetarian Fleet’ on Zomato today to address their food-related and diet-related issues. Goyal revealed that the ‘pure vegetarian medium’ comprises a range of eateries that only provide vegetarian fare—that is, any facilities that do not serve non-vegetarian food.
The colour of the boxes will be green.
He made it clear that his action is independent of political or religious beliefs. But a segment of the social media community has chastised Zomato’s CEO for taking this action. According to Goyal, Zomato’s fleet of all-vegetarian coaches would be green rather than the company’s customary red colour. Goyal underlined that these food providers will only provide delivery services from pure vegetarian restaurants and will not handle any non-vegetarian food. Apart from this, they will also not enter non-vegetarian restaurants with green colored boxes.
