The UP Housing Development Council has indeed opened registration for 10,000 affordable Awas Vikas apartments. Registration for these apartments is now open under the “first come, first serve scheme.” A substantial discount of up to 42% will be offered to the purchasers of these apartments. These Awas Vikas apartments are unoccupied and may be found in UP housing construction projects in Agra, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Moradabad, Meerut, and Saharanpur. This will continue to be registered until February 12 to March 7, 2024.

A registration program on Vasant Panchami

On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, the second phase of the special registration scheme has commenced, as per the information provided on the Housing Development Council website. Applying candidates can obtain additional details and submit their online applications at www.upavp.in

The cities and planning section includes the following: 

> Lucknow-Awadh Vihar Yojana, Vrindavan Yojana, Rajajipuram Yojana.
> Moradabad-Majhola Scheme No. 4 Part-2
> Kanpur- Ambedkarpuram Scheme No. 3, Kalyanpur
> Meerut- Jagriti Vihar (Extension) Scheme No. 11
> Saharanpur- Shakumbhari Vihar Scheme
> Ghaziabad- Siddharth Vihar Scheme, Mandola Vihar Scheme, Vasundhara. Scheme
> Agra-Sikandra Scheme

Moreover, applicants will receive these amenities

> 5 percent discount on the price of the flat to the beneficiary who makes a lump sum payment within 60 days of allotment.
> Applicants will also get the facility to select the flat on a priority basis.
> Under the scheme, the facility of registration for buildings of weaker income groups is also available offline (hybrid mode).
> Under the scheme, flats can be obtained on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Dates for online registration: February 12, 2024, until March 7, 2024

The UP Housing Development Council had declared earlier in November that the costs of available apartments would be lowered in some of the state’s cities by 20 to 35 percent. The Siddharth Vihar Yojana in Ghaziabad saw the largest decrease in flat prices.
